TweetDeck

I've never really liked TweeDeck, but faced with the new Twitter UI preview for one of my work accounts left me w/o being able to just post Tweets from the main window. Instead, I have to click on the post button on the upper, right-hand corner and it just takes too many clicks to be honest.

I downloaded TweetDeck, and was faced with tabula rasa. Learning curve here we come! I was able to locate an excellent  video in the TweetDeck Support area to help me put up the necessary columns for my 3 Twitter accounts: all friends, mentions, direct messages. These are the basic columns that each account owner should have visible at all times. Search and such can be tacked on at the end.

Besides, the narrator's English accent is delectable ^_^ Narration courtesy of @richardbarley.

Having constant access to these three, main columns for each of the 3 accounts I manage is kind of vital for me, so I thought sharing the link to the video can also help others unfamiliar with TweetDeck also get their bearings...and their columns up and running.

I will see now whether it's possible to color columns differently, to help me delineate further each of the three sets of columns for each of the three accounts.
