The only "new" thing that Facebook is doing, is making you needlessly go through the security setup message and options. Because in reality, all your settings are still dispersed in various areas, such as your profile's info tab under edit for each of the sections there, and the usual privacy section up on the right-hand of the page under the wall/profile sections.
I couldn't figure out why my groups/pages and sex were showing up to non-friends, then I realized after about a day of looking, that my sex was under my profile, info section and there was a checkbox that needed unchecking. However, I've yet been unable to find out why my groups/pages are still showing up.
Before this more "visible" and "easier" Facebook security messup, I was able to hide everything except a few select photo albums, which by the way, don't show up on my profile when viewed by a non-member which makes no sense to me if I selected the album to be viewed by everyone.
I think that, at this point, even the Facebook engineers are confused about the nonsensical privacy runaround system.
Very disgruntled right now.
